5K Course Time Limits

Please note that for those participants who are running and/or walking the 5K course for a period longer than one hour after the start of the race that the roads on the 5K course will be reopened to vehicle traffic and you will be asked to move to the sidewalk or one side of the road for your safety. Course marshalls and emergency personnel will remain on the course until all runners have safely cleared the course and crossed the finish line.

Post Race Party

Following the race, we encourage you to cool off and check out the post-race festivities on E. State Street leading up to our awards ceremony. Enjoy light refreshments, cheer on your fellow runners, and support our sponsors and local businesses. Runners 21+ can visit the patio at the Garden Bar to claim their free beer! Runners must show valid proof of age with their race bib.

Awards Ceremony

Our awards ceremony will take place at Star Park on Printer's Alley following the race. Stay tuned for an announcement from volunteers when the awards begin. Recipients will pose for a photo and will receive their award on-site. If you are unable to stay, you will be contacted after the race to make arrangements. Awards will be given out at approx 10:30 AM.

For the

Spectator

Cheer Zone

Words of encouragement and cheers of support from spectators have helped thousands of participants cross the finish line at the Doylestown 5K Race. Your energy and inspiration make a difference! Consider creating a Cheer Zone on this year’s course with your run club, nonprofit organization, business, or neighborhood group to encourage runners on race day.

Sprinklers & Water Zone

Depending on the weather, folks along the race course are encouraged to put out sprinklers or water zones for runners to pass under! If the weather is hot or humid, it provides a cool and very appreciated surprise for our runners! We have a water station that runners will pass twice, located at Linden Elementary School, and water at the finish line for them.

Finding Your Runner

Runners are encouraged to meet friends and family after the race at the Post-Race Party on E State Street. To familiarize yourself with the course, visit dtown5k.run/races.

Race Day Parking

The church parking lot will close at 8:30am to the public. Other lots are across from the Court House on Union Street and the Library on Pine Street. See the map below for more information and directions.
